Planning includes a variety of services centering around charting and maintaining a successful course for your business, such as strategic, tactical and succession planning. This category also includes technology planning at a strategic level. Bill has provided assistance in these areas as:

            • a facilitator who assists the management team formulate strategies and action plans;
            • as a consultant brought in to focus on the implementation of various aspects of the overall strategy; and
            • serving on boards of directors and advisory boards.
Bill's experience in planning for his own companies, and hundreds of others, gives him a unique insight as to how to avoid common pitfalls as well as leverage numerous success strategies. In addition, providing added-value to the planning process, Bill also offers two other support services to his planning clients. These services are Surveys and Lodging.

Retreat Survey Sample
Click on the link at the top of this page if you want to review a sample of a common survey used by CPA firms prior to their partner/shareholder retreats. A similar version of this exists for non-profit and for-profit entities. As part of the development process for these surveys, the questions are customized (added, dropped and modified) to the meet the specific needs of the organization.

The surveys are distributed electronically and usually sent to not only the retreat participants, but to another 15-20 key people in order to obtain a broader perspective of the issues on the agenda.


Retreat Lodging
Click on this link above if you want to consider taking your executive management team to Colorado for the planning session. Bill owns a 5 bedroom plus loft, 4100 square foot house, in the mountains of Breckenridge, Colorado. The house is configured to sleep 18 (as it is often rented during the ski season), but for retreat purposes, it is best suited for 5 or 6 executives. Notice the 10 foot table, as it provides a great place for group-work -- and the downstairs pool table, game table and entertainment center are perfect for after-hours relaxation.
